Archival: Honda Elysion Mugen catalog (Japan)

Did you know Mugen also makes bodykits for humdrum (and obscure) models? Find out with the Honda Elysion.
Ever heard of the Honda Elysion? I didn’t until I bought over this brochure. The Elysion is a seven or eight-seater MPV that was produced from 2004 to 2013 intended only for the Japanese market. The model was discontinued but survived a few extra years courtesy of sale in China until 2015, before being superseded by the second generation Elysion where it is still being sold today.
The first-generation Elysion was sold with three engine choices with the lowest displacement option being a 2.4-litre K24A engine and the rest a 3.0-litre J30A and 3.5-litre J35A V6 engines. The second generation and China-specific Elysion is a rebadged Honda Odyssey of other markets.
Mugen’s kit for the Elysion is primarily cosmetic only, with bumpers, lights and emblems being the main pieces. The only performance modifications available were exhaust systems for both the four-cylinder and six-cylinder models.
Brochure scanned from a copy of unknown release date, presumably after 2004.
