The second instalment of SGRetroCar’s annual Pop-up Headlights Meet with a large showcase of classics with characteristic “eyes”.
The second of SGRetroCar’s Pop-up Headlights Meet. As per the title, the predominant attraction was the large turnout of classics bearing pop-up headlights of the 1980s and 1990s.
No stranger to the game is inevitably the first-generation Mazda MX-5 being the largest population present, though interestingly joined by a Mazda 323 Astina of Malaysian registration!
Lots of visitor hype were also centered around the “golden era supercars” with two classic-registered Honda NSX NA1s present, with the silver unit having undergone an almost full NSX-R conversion; from RECAROs to engine cover and hearsay internals – short ratio gearing, limited-slip differential, engine mounts, exhaust and suspension.
Included too is a pair of Nissan Fairlady Zs and one Mitsubishi GTO, amongst other classics with equal fame and vintage. Attached is a basic video of the meet, and the gallery below for more photos of the turnout.
