Archival: Toyota Corolla Spacio & Corolla Touring Wagon American Billet Version By Modellista catalog (1999) (Japan)
Quad foglights and more, all for the Toyota Corolla Touring and Spacio models!
A super brazen “official” body kit offered by Toyota! Toyota Modellista International, was formed as a joint venture between the Toyota Motor Corporation and Toyota Technocraft (which eventually merged into TRD) to curate customized cars and enter the modification scene as a first-party.
This venture that created the Modellista line of modifications started in February of 1997, making these options amongst the earliest parts that were offered for Toyota vehicles. The “American Billet Version” is supposedly called the “Yakuza” body kit in some groups but I’m not in any, so this isn’t confirmed.
Anyhow, these kits offered a lot of chrome from the bumpers to offered wheels and bespoke design. Most polarizing is still the two-part front bumper and dual-foglights offered for several models, including more famously the Corolla Touring but also the Corolla Spacio, as offered here.
