Elanmi: Ignition cut-off issue

Seemingly some issue with wiring that kills the ignition unprompted, and I’m scratching my head about it.
Got the car back yesterday from an engine diagnosis.
As it did, at a traffic stop, the ignition cut off. On the same trip, the engine jerked and hesitated twice and was noticeable in dashcam footage. Subsequent drives did not have this issue.
The workshop I frequent couldn’t diagnose it, but they suspect wiring problems. I recall the following that is linked to this problem:
- Slamming the glovebox (broken latch) kills the ignition
- Inaccurate speedometer
- Wiring was commented to be a mess
A strong guess is the wiring. My workshop commented that they don’t want to touch it. They’ll have to do it sometime.
