Last model year and special edition of the Honda Civic EG-generation hatchback.
One of the latest special editions that Honda made for the EG Civic before the introduction of the EK-generation. Its an economy-based model based off the MX trim (EG4) as Special Edition (SE), with a 1.5-litre D15B engine. Cross-referencing off a 1992 catalog, this 1995 SE still uses the same carburetted variant of the D15, producing 100PS. Both 4-speed automatic and 5-speed manual transmission variants were available.
Three options were available to the MX – shown here is the MX Limited-exclusive Borg Silver Metallic. The other two shades are Milano Red and Granada Black Pearl. “Jersey” grey fabric is used for interior materials, electric retractable door mirrors and AM/FM cassette stereo. The air conditioning unit in the MX Limited is manual operation only without an automatic option.
Options extras advertised were Honda Access yellow foglights and front bumper parking pole.
