Finding two intriguing Japanese CDs from Taobao, of all retailing websites…
Partially related to automotive is… music! From music videos to official soundtracks to association, tunes has a deep connection with the automotive space, and these two CDs I’ve scored from online has some relation to it. Super Eurobeat links with the Initial D racing anime, and Honda Gathers is linked with… Honda.
Super Eurobeat Vol. 117 is a non-stop mix. The pacing for Eurobeat terms is in the middle ground – not super slow like Italo Disco and not super fast like modern Eurobeat. Its a good mix with good song selection.
The Honda Gathers Popular Music Selection FXD-7021 is a very old album. By the design, the album was released sometime in the early 1990s, but before 1992 or 1993 where the Honda Access logo would be revised. I’m unfamiliar with Honda Access music albums, but this one features pop music of the era.
Very little information is available for the Honda Gathers albums. there is this Popular selection, but also New and Classical entries.
Both albums are very calming and composed in pace. These were picked up for under S$10 including shipping, having been listed for around S$2 in e-commerce site Taobao, of all places. This is a nice call for you to look for unrelated items in different websites – you never know what you might find!
