Archival: Mazda Atenza Sport Wagon (GY1) catalog, accessory catalog, and price list (2002) (Japan)

A flagship wagon that was offered with a 3.0L V6? Hmm, where have I heard that before….
The Mazda Atenza, known elsewhere boring as the 6, saw the light of our dastardly cruel world sometime in May 2002. The Atenza came in a vairety of shapes, from sedan, the rather forgotten liftback and the coolest of the bunch, the wagon.
I’m going to keep it a buck- I have no impression on early Mazdas. Being born in the mid 00s, in a country where everyone follows whatever’s popular, and also where cars cost an arm and a leg; I have no impression on the first generation on the Mazda 6. Maybe, if we’re being pedantic, the yellow Tomica hatchback one. The wagons were never offered here officially in Singapore, until the GJ/GL generations (That’s the third gen, for ya. Also, Calc is short for Calculator.)
Attached are the catalog, the accessory list, and the price list. Separated, of course.
Note: I no longer have the any of these physically, I have sold them. I am unsure when this set was released; Its a pre-facelift, so somewhere between May 2002 and September 2005. This is also the first time scanning a catalog, so don’t expect Efini’s level of quality.
