The Mitsubishi GTO is one of the many Japanese halo cars of the 1990s, being produced from start to end of the era with three facelifts. The final facelift was very short-lived, around from only 1998 onwards to its discontinuation in 1999, and is still the rarest variant available for the GTO (or 3000GT in other markets) – possibly the most beloved too.
