Feriko: RTSi / SR4 mudflaps

Locally-available mudflaps differ from the Japanese-market ones listed in catalogs. These are RTSi mudflaps, or SEA option ones regarding local stock.
From word of mouth and reviews of the seller, these are supposedly Thailand-market mudflaps.
I bought these a while ago and have sat on them as its a simple job that I wasn’t sure of doing. These mudflaps, especially the rear, look drastically simple than the Japanese market mudflaps – that was what I thought.

I did mount the mudflaps up myself with zipties. They hang close to the wheel – that I better rectify soon. Its one of the first pieces of work done by my own hand, so I value the self-satisfaction.

I’m informed that these mudflaps came on local Malaysian-assembled variants, plus the Japanese-market RTSi (4WD) variants. The sporty Honda Access ones that are stubby (advertised above) are for the normal front-drive variants – be it SiR or VTi.
Attached below is a scan of a Malaysian article of the locally-assembled Civic 1.6 EX-i trim – with an identical mudflap design to the RTSi spec – check out the chrome fender liners.

These can be sought on Shopee Malaysia although the stubby ones have since been sold out. The route to get those will be the usual Marketplace hunting.
