Feriko: Clutching on for dear life

The clutch died. The car did afterwards too.
Shortly before arriving in Penang, a relative of mine kindly assisted to have basic repairs done on Feriko. As I was told, the clutch began billowing smoke and couldn’t enter any gear. Waiting for the car to cool down allowed it to limp itself back to a safe area. A good friend recommended a few Honda specialists within Penang and so it went getting the clutch replaced.
In my absence, the driver side door handle and trim had broken off.

The door handles are a known weak point. The trim was previously only sticking out a little – pretty different from this not-pretty disaster as is. Someone tried to hot glue the trim either previously or recently.
Attached below is a video detailing some other problems, notably a pretty bad power steering leak. Parking up somewhere and it leaks at an alarming rate, so this is a big cause for concern… for my safety and my bank balance.

Also, this exhaust leak and workmanship is kind of poor as-is. The flex pipe has a noticeable tear and the muffler is poorly welded on. No wonder it sounds awful, I’d like to change to the stock system… or something like a MUGEN twinloop muffler.

The last clip is what happens here. Seemingly unwilling to leave, Feriko popped a CV joint just outside of the area. This car having a non-limited slip differential (or welded) meant no power to either wheel, therefore stranded. At least it died within pushing distance.

Many, many random scares and disheartening conclusion that it needs more money. Classic car ownership.
