This Civic EK is up next as a contender for scrapping, and this time (for now) is a EK3. This is likely a EXi trim.
The EK3 is powered by a 1.5-litre D15B VTEC engine, usually mated to a 4-speed automatic transmission or a 5-speed manual.
This unit, S###771A is a pre-facelift example as seen by the taillights, trunk and front bumpers (most notably) and is listed for sale for spares on a Malaysian group for RM3,800.
This is apparently not the only EK3 for scrap. En route to the Philippines is a green unit, alongside what seems to be a original Civic Type R (FD2R).
