Archival: Holden Calais 2.6 Dual-Ram (1993) (Singapore)

Kangaroo reviews a Holden! Poetry at its finest..
Well, Holden has long been absent from the Singapore market – the Asia financial crisis killing its hopes in the late 1990s in Singapore and lack of demand when they tried to return as Holden Special Vehicles (HSV), trying to rival Mercedes-Benz and BMW in the high-displacement battle.
Their history takes us back to the Calais, one of Holden’s last official offerings in Singapore available for general consumers to purchase. There is one still around, albeit resting in its home country now.
This is a sub-post from another SG archives article, linked below at the ‘read more’ section.
These scans is lifted from a Motoring (Singapore) issue from October (10M) 1993.
