Elanmi: Satay By The Bay, 4.5 years apart

Four and a half years later, I revisit the parking spot still engraved in my mind from a fellow Lotus.
As time moves on faster than I can process, I took the accidental liberty of revisiting Satay By The Bay, or more accurately the parking area next to it.
It is.. quiet. Not many cars visit Gardens by the Bay by car, and the location itself for driving is quite far from most conventional places that most would want to visit. Situated far from the Central Business District which is also the common location one needs to bypass to reach, it is relatively quiet here.
I am reminded of a car meet hosted here many, many moons ago. While half a decade is like chump change in the eyes of the automotive space, this mildly-filled piggy bank of years means a lot to this young fellow who sees time as money (and is as capable of wasting time like its money).

The photos are posted in their individual pictures than this collage in a previous post of meeting that very car that still holds true inspiration in my memories, and this location holds just as much memories as that very car.
No meet has really been hosted since that day in 2021, with the locations these days watered down primarily to Dempsey Hill and Decathlon @ Kallang, so Satay By The Bay still holds a special memory in my heart for being exclusive as it was.

I picked up my camera shortly before that date and that meet hosted here was my first event covered generously by the a6400, which is still serving me for nearly five years now. (I had to check if it was four or five years since, and I cannot’t express how shocked that it really was the latter)
SME4888Z, now SNQ2662X, is probably going to linger in my head for a long time. It was the most prominent catalyst that was a British Racing Green light to my answers on whether a Lotus Elan was worth the trouble for the next twenty years (physically and monetarily). It was and is Lots Of Trouble Usually Serious, but it is a memorable load of troubles.
