Cars ‘N’ Kopi, with the feature of the new Pagani Utopia.
Cars ‘N’ Kopi! Having missed the previous one when I was overseas, I’ve been meaning to turn up for the next event. Better yet, Pagani of Singapore and Eurokars group were formally joining to showcase the new Pagani Utopia Roadster, THE highlight of the event.
Of course, while the Pagani was undoubtedly the star of the show, there were countless other cars that were extremely special, all for their own reasons and perspectives. Here’s a preview of some of the cars that formally took part:

Here at just after 8am, and I was just able to secure a spot to park within the “showcase” area. Always best to show up much earlier to secure a parking spot, but that’s skipping good sleep 😴
Alright, here is me just arriving and looking around to survey the volume of cars queuing for parking.

| A highly efficient 1.6! Yes, this is a real Type R. One of two, and the B16B is an extremely potent motor. Comparing it with a Mercedes C350, both are roughly the same pace. Super potent! |
Do excuse the huge variations in photo quality! My photos were taken on three total cameras; a 2009, 2012 and a 2021 camera.

| A really, really expensive option! As I was told, this rear design is a M Performance exhaust system, an option that costed around the ballpark of 10 thousand dollars. |

| One of the nicest Lancer CS3’s in my opinion. Yellow fogs, Evo 6-style bonnet and one solid white color. Nice car! |

| Yellow paint and gold wheels! To my understanding, this used to have the full Mazdaspeed A-Spec bodykit on it, which can be seen from the Mazdaspeed MS-01R wheels and spoiler. |

| Exterior wise it looks cosmetically factory, even the C&C logo is still intact. A stunner. |

| A short shifter and fishnet Recaros. This is a nice inspiration to how I’d like to maintain my own Honda back in Malaysia |
Star of the show! Limited at 130 proposed units to be produced, this roadster is quite a stunner. I’m not a total fan of modern day supers and hypers, but I have to say, this shape is really growing on me. This with a 7 speed manual gearbox has to be heaven; over 800 horsepower in a modern hypercar with a manual must be really good. This unit also has a wine red finish that if you look closely, will see carbon fiber weaves. Quite subtle, but it looks pretty in photos, especially close-up ones.
The shape of it really looks quite nice.
However, with more and more enthusiast cars showing up, I can’t help but to keep walking around 😁

| The more I look into these classic Alfa’s, the more I realize that there’s quite a bundle of these classic Alfa’s that are still on black plates. Suppose this is what desirability does to cars |

| Surprised this two were left alone when I saw them parked up; OPC-plates Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution wagon and a Nissan Skyline 2.5; normally I’d see both of these being surrounded in CnK |

| Uber rare! This Alfa Romeo Spider and its coupe counterpart (GTV) are considerably rare in Singapore. |

| Probably sitting around 7 or so units left (Otherwise similar to the Lotus Elan M100), these are a very rare sight, I think the last time I saw one was 4 years ago! |

| Twinning! As RUF was not recognized as an individual company by LTA in this car’s heyday, tax records will not display this car as a RUF, rather a Turbo S. |

| Back when compacts were still using a front engine, rear drive layout; the KP61 Toyota Starlet is a bit of an icon, both when they used to be everywhere and used in sporting activities. If you’ve seen those 90’s Japanese touge drifting videos, you might remember an odd KP61 being one of many cars featured. |

| A red Honda Civic Type R FL5 with a matching Instagram handle! The color pops, not more than the blue but given I’ve seen more blue FL5’s, this is a refresher. |

| Now, how’s this for a sleeper? If the plate wasn’t more indicative that what you’re looking at is special, then you’ll want to take a peek at the badges! |

| The W203 Mercedes C-Class is already a rare sight on Singapore roads and will only get rarer |

| But this is the cream of the crop! |

| Personally, thanks to my family’s motoring history, I’m more biased towards the V6, even though the W203 received the C55 AMG. |

| As the badging implies, this is a 3.2L V6, with a supercharger slapped on for good measure. Producing 350HP and a 0-100 pace of 5.2 seconds, this car is measurably quick! |

| One of two left in the country, I’m happy to see this car again, especially when quite recently it was offered for sale right before and after its COE renewal. |

| This Aston Martin Cygnet is an oddball car, but still incredibly striking. And for a first car, probably one of the much better cars that follow the optimum function for a starting car |

| In between the duo rests an epitome of luxury go-fast ideology, a Mercedes S65 AMG. |

| Judging by the colors which I found unconventional for an AMG, may or may not signal that this may be a Final Edition car. I’m not so sure as I’m not adept with this model of S-Class, but this is also incidentally the last generation of S-Class to be powered by a V12. A bygone era. |
